The Nubri community

Nubri is actually a language that the villagers in the valley speak. Therefore, it is known as the Nubri Valley and the Nubri community. It is one of the unheard, undocumented, and undiscovered languages.
In 2017, HKU (University of Hong Kong) started documenting and studying this language. The study is still ongoing and has not been completed. With language, the traditions and beliefs of this community are also unique.

The hidden Tsum Valley
One of the remotest parts of the Manaslu region is the Tsum Valley. It is located on the northeast side of Manaslu Circuit. The trail separates from Lokpa village (on the way from Jagat to Deng).
The Tsum Valley is known as the Hidden Valley. It is even more remote and untouched than the Manaslu Circuit. The locals are known as Tsumbas, one of the indigenous groups in Nepal.
You will ascend up to Mu Gompa (3,700 m) and may further go on a side hike to Ganesh Himal Base Camp in Tsum Valley. The Tsum Valley excursion will make your journey even more pristine, remote, and adventurous.
