Chisapani Nagarkot Trek is a popular route of hiking in around Kathmandu rim. Chisapani Nagarkot Trek is a short trek that takes you through beautiful villages near the capital of Nepal. After short drive to Sundarijal the trail follows the water supply pipeline north up a steep stone stairway to water reservoir from where the Kathmandu’s water is supplied. Water fall and country side tranquil environment will spell the trekkers. The path continues through the Tamang village Mulkharka and uphill through army camp and reach the ridge crest at Burlang Bhanjyang 7872ft.After here the trail descend down through the oak forest to Chisapani 2100m.
This few days hiking route blends the Himalayan scenery and countryside. Both Chisapani and Nagarkot hilltops near the valley are popular for panoramic views of Ganesh Himal - Langtang to Everest Himalayan ranges. Walking through the forest and terraced field and local village and early sunrise views at Nagarkot are extremely fascinating and mesmerizing. Some people also claim that it is possible to view Mt. Everest far in east!
Last day the downward journey requires 3-4 hours to Nala. One and half hour drive back to your hotel at Kathmandu. The drive back to Kathmandu is through scenic country side hills and farmland.
