The 932 square kilometer Chitwan National Park is situated in the subtropical lowlands of the inner Terai region of south central Nepal. The bio-diversity of the park is abundant. More than 55 animal species, 600 bird species, and 55 reptilian and amphibian species call it home. The Royal Bengal Tiger and One-horned Rhinoceros are its most well-known features. Numerous additional animals are included in addition to rhinos and tigers, such as deer, wild dogs, monkeys, grey langurs, wild boars, and wild cats, among many more. Reptiles also include a variety of snakes, pythons, marsh crocodiles, Gangetic crocodiles, and others. Peacocks, Hornbills, Peahens, Brahminy Ducks, Indian Pittas, Parakeets, Waterfowl, Floricans, and many more are among the birds.

Depart from Kathmandu at 7:00 am.
Arrive to Chitwan by 2 pm.

- This is the last day at chitwan. You can either return back to Kathmandu or you can continue your journey to Pokhara.
