    Chandragiri is situated to south west of Kathmandu  as an evergreen hill. Chandragiri is an interesting Day Hiking is recently opened route in Nepal and it is the best hiking destination. The day starts from Matatirtha  at altitude is 1650 meters above sea level It follows eastern range to Hattiban Resort. From here you can see the scenic view of mountain Manaslu, Ganesh Himal, Langtang ranges, Gaurishankar and even Everest range. This hike takes approximately seven hours if you wish to finish in a day. You will walk 3 hours steep up stone staircase to the Chhap Bhanjyang.  Here you will get tea and coffees in local tea shop. This tea shop only open in season time.  After one hour walking through the forest you will be in Chandragiri Hill at 2729 m. Chandragiri is more famous because by 2 hr. travelling from Kathmandu people can enjoy the scenic beauty from the top of the hill and chills out in the refreshing environment.

    Chandragiri Hiking Itinerary

    8.30 AM     : Be ready after your breakfast 
    8-45 AM    : Meet guide at Hotel lobby and drive to Nearby to Matatirtha and start hiking Trek/ hike approximately 5-6 hours and back to base and drive back to                            Hotel 
    3-4 PM    : Back to Hotel and finish the day
